My qualifications

I'm not the kind of person who talks about himself much. But to the best of my knowledge, I am the only computer technician I know, with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

Following my graduation from Ball State University, I worked for the daily newspaper in my hometown for 15 years. It was toward the end of my time there, that I began to learn Microsoft FrontPage. I continued learning that application during my four-plus years at my next job (working for a small computer, network and Web design company in my hometown). In the time I spent with that company, I achieved the following certifications:

Unfortunately, in April 2003, I was laid off from that small company. At that time, I began this effort, now known as Sensible Web Design. I found full-time employment with one of the school corporations in my county of residence, but in the meantime, picked up the following membership:
